A little over 1500 government workers in Bhopal applied to have their duties related to the Lok Sabha Election removed; 500 of these applications were denied while the duties of 10,000 employees were annulled.

Most of the employees whose applications were canceled, according to officials, had stated illness; however, upon medical investigation, it was discovered that they were in good health. Duty was not cancelled as a result.

According to Joint Collector Aditya Singh, there were increased applications because of pregnancy, significant illness, and difficulties caring for younger children. They were looked over. Additionally, 500 applications included mentions of disease; yet, the medical board determined that the employees were fit. Duty was not cancelled as a result.

Attendance at the second training session on April 25 is mandatory for staff. Employees whose shifts have not been canceled will undoubtedly need to show up for the second training, which begins on April 25. Action to suspend them may be taken if they fail to show up.

Over a thousand applications for the cancellation of election duties were submitted in less than ten days. Even yet, some employees are still coming in with applications, but because training starts on April 25, their applications are not being approved.

Lok Sabha Election: It was discovered that between 70 and 80 applications come from cancer-stricken employees. Two hundred applications are from female employees with small children, and more than 100 applications are from pregnant women who are unable to do their duties.

Two hundred applications showed that the husband and wife both worked for the government and were on duty, while seven hundred applications stated that he had various illnesses, including heart problems.
