RAJASTHAN CM Bhajan Lal : There will be special focus on each produce, botanical species, product, tourist destination and sports in every district.

On the instructions of RAJASTHAN CM Bhajan Lal , on the first anniversary of the tenure of the state government, a new program of promoting Panch-Gaurav is being started in all the districts of the state to promote five-faced development.
According to the information received, Panch-Gaurav program is being started by the state government in every district with special focus on one produce, one botanical species, one product, one tourist destination and one sport. These five elements identified in these categories for each district will be known as Panch-Gaurav of the district.
Rajasthan, being the largest state of the country, has different types of geographical conditions in different districts. Due to this, different types of produce are produced here and different types of vegetation are found.Similarly, different types of minerals are available in different districts of the state and different products are made. Every year a large number of tourists also come to the state to visit the tourist places located in different districts. Similarly, some sports are particularly popular among the residents of different districts.
As per the intention of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, to increase economic activities and employment opportunities on the basis of all-round development and available possibilities of these districts, at least one produce, With special focus on one botanical species, one product, one tourist destination and one sport, activities for their promotion, conservation and development will be carried out accordingly. For example, skimmed milk powder production and potato cultivation in Dholpur district, soybean processing and garlic production in Baran district will be included in this scheme.
At the state level, one district-one agriculture department for one produce, one district-one forest department for one species, one district-one industry department for one product, one district-one tourism department for one tourist destination and one district-one sports department. Sports department will act as the nodal department for this.
The District Collector of each district will coordinate with these departments and ensure effective implementation of this program.
