Parineeti Chopra on ‘Chamkila’
In the film, Parineeti Chopra plays Amarjot, Chamkila’s spouse and singing companion. In a previous interview with ETimes, Parineeti Chopra disclosed why she signed on to the movie. “I got to sing about 15 songs for this film, which was one of the main reasons I did it,” she remarked. My co-star, Diljit, heard me sing during this movie and encouraged me to pursue live performances. I used to have this continual feeling that I could be on stage because of everyone around me.
