With this decision of the state government, lakhs of farmers of the state and operators and traders of pulse mills, oilseed mills and flour mills will get direct benefits. Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries has expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai for this important decision.
It is noteworthy that the operators and traders of pulses mills, oilseeds mills and flour mills of the state requested CM Vishnu Dev Sai to give exemption in market fee on pulses, oilseeds and wheat brought from outside the state for processing and manufacturing. Was.On the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Sai, by issuing a notification on 17 December 2024, complete exemption in these fees has been provided in all the mandis of Chhattisgarh from 13 March 2024 to 31 March 2026.
Responding to this decision, President of Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce Association, Shri Amar Parwani has said that this decision is historic for the business and agriculture sector of the state. Thanking the Chief Minister, he said that this exemption will strengthen the economy of the state and protect the interests of businessmen and farmers.Due to exemption in market fees and farmer welfare fees, traders will be able to do business at competitive rates even with neighboring states. This will boost business activities in the state and farmers will also get better prices for their produce.
Acknowledging this decision of CM Vishnu Dev Sai, the general public and people from the industry today reached the Chief Minister’s residence and heartily congratulated CM Vishnu Dev and thanked him wholeheartedly.
CM Vishnu Dev Sai said that despite financial challenges, his government has taken this decision in the interest of the general public of the state. With this decision, 30 thousand families of the state will be protected and the general public will also continue to get everyday items at lower prices.
CM Vishnu Dev Sai said that the production of pulses, oilseeds and wheat in the state is less as per the demand, due to which the pulses mills, oilseeds mills and flour mills of the state have to import pulses, oilseeds and wheat from other states for the operation of their mills. Oilseeds and wheat have to be imported. By being exempted from mandi fee, the pulse mills, oilseed mills and flour mills of the state will be able to compete with other states and provide pulses, pulses and flour to the consumers at lower prices.Oil, flour and maida will be obtained, which will save in household expenditure and with this savings the consumer will be able to purchase other essential items to improve his lifestyle.Apart from this, about 30 thousand families get employment from these pulse mills, oilseed mills and flour mills, whose direct protection will be decided by this decision.
