CM Yogi Adityanath: The police gallery is a reflection of the standards set by the state police force in the last 7 and a half years
CM Yogi Adityanath today visited the Police Gallery in Mahakumbh Nagar and appreciated the efficiency and proactiveness of the Uttar Pradesh Police. He said that the standards set by the state police force in the last seven and a half years are clearly reflected in the police gallery. The police have played an important role in establishing the rule of law in Uttar Pradesh, which was once dominated by mafias and criminals. The police have worked with full devotion and dedication to make the policy of zero tolerance adopted by the state government a success.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the state police has established effective control over mafia, criminals, goons and corrupts. With its excellent working style, the Uttar Pradesh Police has set an example for the police of other states. Effective use of modern technology has been made keeping in mind all aspects of security. Ensuring security among lakhs of devotees at the Mahakumbh is a big challenge, which the state police is fulfilling with full responsibility and alacrity. He also stressed the need for effective implementation of the new criminal laws.
The police gallery has been conveniently divided into 13 different sections. The proactiveness and efficiency of the state police has been displayed in each section. Focusing specifically on the security arrangements for the Mahakumbh, the gallery showcases how the police are using modern technologies, such as drones, CCTVs and other security devices. The gallery also includes’ UP 112 ‘, modern police stations, forensic labs, prosecution, courts, prisons, special training, PAC, SDRF, STF, GRP, ATS and’ 1090 ‘helpline.
