CM Nitish Kumar : 307 schemes were inaugurated and foundation stones were laid.
CM Nitish Kumar today remotely inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 307 development schemes worth Rs. 406.56 crore from the premises of Government Polytechnic College in Jagdishpur block of Bhojpur district during Pragati Yatra. 145 schemes worth Rs. 165.84 crore were inaugurated and 162 schemes worth Rs. 240.72 crore were laid.
CM Nitish Kumar inaugurated the campus development and box culvert of Government Polytechnic College at a cost of Rs. 667.56 lakh at village Kakila in Kakila Panchayat. He also inaugurated 11 KV dedicated feeders for agricultural purposes at a cost of Rs. 535.27 lakh. The Chief Minister inspected the civil and administrative building of the college and took stock of various laboratories.
CM Nitish Kumar also inaugurated a kitchen run by Jeevika Didis and thanked them for their support. Thereafter, the Chief Minister distributed token cheques under various schemes, such as Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana, Jeevika Self Help Groups, Sustainable Livelihood Scheme, and Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana.
The Chief Minister gave necessary instructions to the local officials while inspecting the development works. He also took stock of the restoration work of the pond under Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan in Kakila village and ordered the officials to ensure further action.
CM Nitish Kumar conducted an on-the-spot inspection of the proposed Ara Ring Road at Ziromail, Ara and gave necessary directions to the officials. The officials apprised the Chief Minister about the construction of four-lane from Jiromail Ara to Asni flyover through site map, widening and upgradation work of four-lane NH-922 from Pakri Chowk to Bamapali ‘NH-922’ via Girja Chowk, Chandwa Mor Path, Aranya Devi Temple to Ara-Buxar ‘NH-922’ Path, and other related works.
CM Nitish Kumar said that with the construction of these roads, people will get a lot of convenience in commuting and the movement of vehicles will be smooth. He instructed the officials to complete all works within the stipulated time frame.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, Water Resources Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Science and Technology Minister Shri Sumit Kumar Singh, other dignitaries, senior officials and local people were present on the occasion.
