CM Mohan Yadav Inaugurates State-Level Archery Academy in Jabalpur
CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated the state-level Archery Sports Academy in Jabalpur on Wednesday, announcing that athletes in the state will now have access to training facilities equivalent to those at the national level. He emphasized that the Sports Ministry’s newly formulated sports policy will be implemented across the state. Highlighting India’s progress in international sports under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Dr. Yadav noted that the country has made significant strides in preparing athletes for the Olympics, Asian Games, and other global competitions.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the State Archery Sports Academy, built at a cost of ₹26.80 crores in Ranjhi, Jabalpur, CM Mohan Yadav announced that the academy will be named after Late Ishwardas Rohani in recognition of his contributions.
Accelerated Development Under Prime Minister’s Leadership
CM Mohan Yadav stated that the state is entering a new era of rapid development under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, with progress being made across all sectors. He added that the newly inaugurated academy, along with its synthetic athletic track, will provide immense benefits to aspiring athletes.
Residential Plots for Eligible Individuals
CM Mohan Yadav directed the District Collector to ensure that eligible individuals in suburban areas of Ranjhi, including Sharda Nagar, Shanti Nagar, Ram Nagar, and Uday Nagar, receive residential plots. He emphasized that ongoing surveys are being conducted to guarantee permanent housing for homeless families in both urban and rural areas. The state government remains committed to providing stable housing solutions for all.

The event witnessed the presence of Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, Members of Parliament Shri Ashish Dubey and Sumitra Balmeek, MLAs Shri Ajay Vishnoi, Ashok Rohani, Abhilash Pandey, and Neeraj Singh Thakur, along with Mayor Shri Jagat Bahadur Singh Annu, Advocate General Shri Prashant Singh, Olympic Association Secretary Shri Digvijay Singh, and Municipal Corporation President Shri Rikunj Vij. A large number of citizens and sports enthusiasts also attended the ceremony.
CM Mohan Yadav Participates in Kalash Puja
During his visit to Jabalpur, CM Mohan Yadav also visited the residence of Cantonment MLA Shri Ashok Rohani, where he took part in the Kalash Puja. He engaged in discussions with family members and exchanged views on regional development initiatives.
