Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini stated that public trust in s welfare policies has strengthened, leading to the BJP’s third consecutive term at both the Centre and in Haryana. He emphasized the government’s commitment to transparency and meeting public expectations. With the formation of a triple-engine government, development projects in the state will progress at three times the speed.
Speaking at a program in Rohtak on Monday,CM Nayab Singh Saini highlighted key initiatives undertaken by the government. Soon after assuming office, appointment letters were provided to 25,000 youth selected purely on merit, without any bribery or recommendation, as promised in the Sankalp Patra. Within the first 100 days, the government introduced free dialysis services for kidney patients, fulfilling another commitment. Additionally, under the Har Ghar-Har Grihini Yojana, women from families earning less than Rs 1.80 lakh annually are receiving gas cylinders at a subsidized rate of Rs 500, benefiting nearly 15 lakh families. Officials have been directed to ensure all eligible families avail of this scheme.
CM Nayab Singh Saini announced that farmers cultivating land for years without ownership rights would now be granted them. Similarly, individuals residing on panchayat land for over 20 years will also receive ownership rights, bringing significant relief. Haryana has become the first state in India to procure all crops at MSP. Addressing commission agents’ demands, the government increased their commission from Rs 40 to Rs 55 per quintal, transferring Rs 309 crore to their accounts. Additionally, under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, solar panels up to 2 kilowatts are being installed in the homes of poor families, with over 12,500 households already benefiting. The Centre provides an Rs 80,000 subsidy, while the Haryana government covers the remaining cost.
Furthermore, the government has raised the pension for Matribhasha Satyagrahis from Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000. To ensure smooth public transport, the HAPPY Card Scheme was introduced for families with an annual income of up to Rs 1 lakh, allowing free travel up to 1,000 kilometers in Haryana Roadways buses. So far, 30 to 35 lakh people have received these cards. Recognizing public faith, the government has also launched the Mukhya Mantri Teerth Darshan Yojana, providing free travel to Ayodhya and Kumbh.
CM Nayab Singh Saini reiterated the government’s commitment to the state’s overall development. The event was attended by Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Ramchander Jangra, former Minister Manish Grover, and other dignitaries.
