CM Mohan Yadav announced that a medical college will soon be established in Jhabua, functioning as a University Teaching Department under Devi Ahilya University, Indore. During a meeting at the CM’s residence, Professor Dr. Rakesh Singhai, Kul Guru of Devi Ahilya University, discussed the initiative with him.
Dr. Singhai stated that the medical college will operate from the existing Engineering College building, with Jhabua District Hospital serving as its affiliated hospital.CM Mohan Yadav has directed the Public Health and Medical Education Department to take necessary steps, while the approval process with the Medical Council of India is underway.
As a gesture, Professor Dr. Singhai presented his authored book Vakrokti to the Chief Minister.
