CM Nitish Kumar has congratulated all the successful students. He was particularly happy to note that this year, girl students have topped in all the three streams of Arts, Science and Commerce. The Chief Minister said that this achievement is an excellent example of women empowerment and not only the girl students but also their parents deserve to be congratulated for this.
CM Nitish Kumar said that various schemes run by the state government for the girl child have boosted their confidence, due to which they are making continuous progress in every field. The Chief Minister also wished all the successful students a bright future.
CM Nitish Kumar also appreciated the Bihar School Examination Committee and the Education Department for releasing the results in a limited time. He said that timely declaration of results will provide ample time to the students for further studies and enrolment in higher classes, which will further boost their confidence.
This year, a total of 12,80,211 candidates had appeared for the Inter exam, out of which 11,07,330 students were successful, giving an overall success rate of 86.50 per cent. Of these, 5,59,065 are girls and 5,48,148 are boys.
