CM Mohan Yadav emphasized that the Madhya Pradesh government is committed to the welfare of all, implementing policies with clear objectives. He highlighted that the cooperative sector, alongside other industries, has flourished due to a transparent working system from the Panchayat level to the Secretariat. Guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, the state is advancing with the vision of “bahujan hitay-bahujan sukhay” (welfare and happiness for all). Inspired by Gujarat’s bonus system for milk producers, Madhya Pradesh is progressing in a similar direction. With extensive fisheries resources, the state also introduced collaborations between the cooperative and industrial sectors during the Global Investors Summit.

He welcomed participants from across the state and distributed appointment letters to newly appointed cooperative inspectors. He assured that in the next four years, the cooperative movement in Madhya Pradesh will scale new heights.
India’s Legacy of Cooperation: A Model for the World
CM Mohan Yadav reflected on India’s deep-rooted tradition of cooperation, tracing it back to ancient times. He noted that while India historically conducted the Ashwamedha Yajna, it never sought to dominate other nations but instead fostered unity and self-sufficiency among smaller states. He emphasized that India truly embodies the ideals of the United Nations, living by the principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family). He credited Prime Minister Modi for elevating India’s stature globally and strengthening cooperative values.
Strengthening Cooperatives in Madhya Pradesh
CM Mohan Yadav affirmed that Madhya Pradesh is working in alignment with PM Modi’s vision of multi-purpose cooperative societies. Under Union Minister Amit Shah’s leadership, the central government has prioritized inclusivity in the cooperative sector. To facilitate this, reforms in the Cooperative Act have streamlined processes, reducing society registration time from 90 days to just 30 days. Efforts are also underway to simplify various procedures and promote cooperatives as key contributors to industrial growth. The government aims to enhance benefits for farmers, cattle rearers, and fish farmers, ensuring the cooperative sector reaches new heights.
