MP Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has sought the collaboration of Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust in advancing research on Ayurveda-based treatments for sickle cell disease.
During the convocation ceremony of Maharshi Panini Sanskrit and Vedic University, Ujjain, he discussed the initiative with Acharya Balkrishna, the founding secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust. Governor Patel also briefed him on the treatment and rehabilitation efforts underway as part of the National Sickle Cell Mission.
Notably, Acharya Balkrishna was conferred with an honorary degree by Maharshi Panini Sanskrit and Vedic University, Ujjain.
