On Tuesday, Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann highlighted the state government’s dedicated efforts to ensure the comprehensive development of the youth by offering various platforms for growth.
Speaking after inaugurating a newly constructed auditorium at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), the Chief Minister explained that this key institution plays a vital role in improving the quality of elementary education in the region. Established in 1993, DIET Sangrur has significantly contributed to creating new employment opportunities for the youth. Mann also noted that the auditorium, built at a cost of Rs 4.16 crore, is a modern engineering marvel, equipped with the latest technical features like projectors and air conditioners.
CM Bhagwant expressed his vision for the auditorium, describing it as a well-designed space that can be effectively used for workshops, seminars, and other events to help nurture the youth. He emphasized that this state-of-the-art facility, which was previously only found abroad, has now been built in Punjab due to the hard work of the state government. He hopes that it will become an important platform for students and young people to excel in various fields.
CM Bhagwant acknowledged the inherent potential of the youth and emphasized the need to properly harness their capabilities. He likened students and youth to planes, with the state government serving as their launch pad to success. He assured that he would not rest until Punjab’s students achieve their full potential.
