Vijay Deverakonda on the punishment that he gave himself post-Liger failure
As he prepared for his upcoming project, “Family Star,” the actor discussed how his work ethic stayed the same regardless of “Liger’s” conclusion. Nevertheless, he identified one particular issue that he felt obligated to alter.
“There is no change in my attitude,” said Vijay during a press conference, as reported by India Today. Both before and after the release, I have not changed. The one distinction is that, for the next three or so films, I have chosen to withhold the results of my films from public discussion. That’s the penalty I imposed on myself.”
Vijay Deverakonda about Family Star and Mrunal Thakur
Regarding his forthcoming part in “Family Star,” which co-stars Mrunal Thakur, Vijay is still upbeat. Vijay talked about his co-star and his experience working with her during the media session. It’s really simple when you have a smart actress by your side. Mrunal began his acting career even before I began to think of movies. She began working at an early age. She picks things up quickly. I tell her all the time how lucky she is to have a face. She doesn’t say much, but you can tell she’s feeling things. Even if she doesn’t speak the language, there’s something in the shape of her lips, nose, and eyes that allows the emotions to come through clearly. Working with her was quite simple,” he said.
He compared his renowned portrayal of “Arjun Reddy” to his role in “Family Star,” calling it a “blessing,” in an interview with Galatta Plus. “I have been blessed with characters that have been remembered far beyond their time,” the speaker said. Arjun Reddy, one of whom is Sandeep. My role in Family Star, in my opinion, is yet another blessing.”
Directed by Parasuram, ‘Family Star” is slated for release on April 5.
