Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath today participated in the Janata Darshan program at his official residence and listened to the problems of the people. He assured the citizens that their grievances would be redressed at the earliest and directed the officials to ensure prompt and effective redressal of public grievances.
On the directions of the Chief Minister, senior officers like Chairman Revenue Council, Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary (CM), Director General of Police and Principal Secretary (Home) were specially present in the programme. The objective was that the higher officials themselves should listen to the problems of the common people and ensure satisfactory solutions in a time-bound manner.
During this time, a Ccitizen demanded a pension scheme, on which he was immediately made to undergo the KYC process on the instructions of the Chief Minister and was told that he would start getting the benefit of the scheme from the next day. Two other Divyangjans were provided with an electronic stick with sensors on the spot and were also given information about its use.
A total of 112 citizens from various districts attended the programme and 88 applications were received. These applications included issues related to marriage grants, housing, toilets, electricity connections, electricity bills and house tax. The Chief Minister directed to resolve all the issues amicably.

- 23 cases related to the police to the Director General of Police,
- 17 applications for discretionary funds and marriage grants to the Additional Chief Secretary,
And 25 different types of cases were handed over to the Chief Secretary.
This effort of the Chief Minister shows his sensitivity towards people’s problems and commitment to resolve them.
