CM Nitish Kumar today inspected the sports complex of ‘Khelo India Youth Games-2025’ at Yamuna Bhagat Stadium in Teghra block of Begusarai district and met the players. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister interacted with and encouraged the players participating in the ‘Khelo India Youth Games-2025’ from West Bengal, Delhi, Chandigarh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Orissa, Jharkhand and Bihar.
CM Nitish Kumar also witnessed a football match between women players of Andhra Pradesh and Haryana at Yamuna Bhagat Stadium. Visiting the stadium complex, the Chief Minister greeted the players and spectators who had come from different states and welcomed them by waving at them. The players and spectators welcomed the Chief Minister by clapping.
CM Nitish Kumar was welcomed by Sports Minister Shri Surendra Mehta and District Magistrate, Begusarai, Shri Tushar Singla by presenting him a bouquet, memento and ‘Khelo India “kit.
