The actress, known for her roles in Aquaman and The Rum Diary, took to Instagram to share the joyful news with her fans and followers.
Amber Heard Celebrates the Completion of Her Family
On Sunday, Amber Heard posted a touching image of her twins’ tiny feet along with a message that celebrated the milestone of expanding her family. “This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years,” Amber Heard wrote. “Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full.”
Heard also reflected on the happiness her children have brought into her life, mentioning how she previously thought she could not experience more joy after the birth of her first daughter, Oonagh, four years ago. “When I had my first baby girl Oonagh, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!!!”

The actress went on to express her gratitude for the ability to choose motherhood on her own terms, despite facing fertility challenges. “Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms, despite my own fertility challenges, has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully,” Amber Heard said in her post.
In addition to celebrating her own motherhood journey, Amber Heard took the opportunity to honor all mothers, regardless of how they arrived at motherhood. “To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you. Amber Heard, who welcomed her first child, Oonagh, via surrogacy in April 2021, has always been private about her family life but chose Mother’s Day as the perfect moment to publicly share the news of her growing family.
