CM Nitish Kumar visited Narayanpur village in Garkha block of Saran district and paid tributes to slain BSF sub-inspector Mohammad Imtiyaz. He paid tributes to the martyrs by garlanding their portrait. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister met the family members of the martyr including his sons Mohammad Imran Raza and Mohammad Imdad Raza and consoled them.
On behalf of the state government,CM Nitish Kumar handed over a cheque of Rs 50 lakh to the family of the martyr. He also announced that the martyr’s son will be given a government job on the basis of merit. Additionally, a two-kilometre-long rural path from Chintamanganj Bridge to Rahampur Bazar will be named after the martyr in his memory.
CM Nitish Kumar also informed that a “Shaheed Dwar” will be constructed at the entrance of the village in Jalal-Basant Panchayat. A new health sub-centre and a memorial in memory of martyr Mohammad Imtiaz will also be built in Narayanpur village.
Prominent amongst those present on the occasion included Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Samrat Chaudhary, Water Resources Minister Mr. Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Minority Welfare Minister Mr. Jama Khan, Science and Technology Minister Mr. Sumit Kumar Singh, besides senior officers of the State Government, family members of the martyr and villagers.
