CM Nitish Kumar inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 48 development projects worth Rs. 208.62 crore at a function held at Sandys Compound, Bhagalpur today. He inaugurated 32 projects through remote, on which about Rs. 45.02 crore has been spent, while an amount of about Rs. 163.59 crore has been sanctioned for the foundation stone of 16 new schemes.
Later, the Chief Minister attended a special development camp under Dr. Ambedkar Samagra Seva Abhiyan at Mukhairiya village of Khiribandh Panchayat in Jagdishpur block of Bhagalpur district. Here he inspected the stalls put up by various departments and presented symbolic cheques, sanction letters and certificates to the beneficiaries of the schemes.
CM Nitish Kumar also handed over vasagita leaf, ration card, Ayushman Bharat card, cheque under Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana, citation of Sustainable Livelihood Scheme, certificate of skilled youth programme, sponsorship scheme, key of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) and symbolic cheque of Antarrashtriya Vivah Protsahan Yojana to the beneficiaries.
A large number of people attended the camp. CM Nitish Kumar greeted the gathering by waving his hand while the people welcomed him with thunderous applause. The women felicitated the Chief Minister by presenting him a memento.
