CM Yogi Adityanath said that projects worth about Rs 3,300 crore are being launched to groom the future of children in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 8 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government has made many positive changes in basic education.
This change started with ‘Operation Kayakalp’ and now it is getting a new direction in the form of Mukhyamantri Model Composite Schools and Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Model Composite Schools. The Department of Education is constantly working towards quality and innovation.
The Chief Minister was speaking at a function at Lok Bhawan.
He laid the foundation stone of 43 Mukhya Mantri Model Composite Schools and 66 Mukhya Mantri Abhyudaya Vidyalayas.

For students of Council Schools, an amount of ₹1,200 was transferred to their parents’ accounts through DBT.
In addition:
Smart classes in 7,409 schools,
ICT labs in 5,258 schools,
Digital libraries in 503 PM SHRI schools,
tablets to 51,600 teachers,
Educational Broadcasting Studio,
‘Nipun Plus’ App and
Innovative programmes such as summer camps were launched.
Two books titled ‘Sarathi “and’ Anurupan” were released and the best performing teachers were felicitated.
The Chief Minister said:
A new model of education is being prepared in the state, in which education from pre-primary to senior secondary will be given in a single campus.
These schools will have science labs, computer labs, technical labs, playgrounds, multipurpose halls, etc.
In the first phase, two model schools are planned in every district and one school in every assembly in the future, which will cost ₹25-30 crore.
He said that in the meeting of Chief Ministers held in New Delhi, the UP government presented its’ Project Alankar ‘, which is a great example of restoration and digitisation of old schools.
The Chief Minister described education as the foundation of society and nation and said:
Before 2017, the condition of government schools was bad, now the picture has changed.
The number of students in many schools has reached 800 to 1200.
As per expert assessment, the results of more than 48,000 schools have been excellent.
He emphasised on providing field training to B.Ed and M.Ed students in Council schools, integration of smaller schools and maintaining a balanced teacher-student ratio.

Summer camps will showcase the talent of children.
In November-December, there will be competitions from block to state level,
International Yoga Day is being celebrated across the world on Monday (June 21).
He said that with the help of Educational Broadcasting Studio, the expertise of a teacher will reach the children of the entire state.
The Chief Minister said that all the 746 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas have been upgraded up to class 12 and there is better education and food for girls.
More than 1.5 crore students of the state are being sent ₹1,200 for uniforms, bags, shoes-socks, sweaters and stationery through DBT.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that a strong education system takes the country and the state forward. Minister of State Sandeep Singh informed that 96% of the 19 parameters of Operation Kayakalp have been completed and the course of N.C.E.R.T. has been implemented.
