A Catalogue of Serious Offenses
According to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), Andrew Tate, 38, has been charged with 10 serious offences involving three alleged victims. These charges include rape, causing actual bodily harm, human trafficking, and controlling prostitution for financial gain. His brother, Tristan Tate, 36, faces 11 charges related to a single alleged victim, including rape, actual bodily harm, and human trafficking. Both men have denied all allegations, and legal proceedings are ongoing.
The charges stem from evidence gathered by Bedfordshire Police and relate to events that allegedly occurred within the UK. Despite being born in the United States, Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate were raised in Luton, England, after their parents’ divorce.
Currently under criminal investigation in Romania, the Tate brothers cannot yet be extradited. Romanian legal proceedings, which began after their 2022 arrest, must first run their course. There, they face similar charges—including rape, trafficking underage girls, and exploitation. n August 2024, new allegations were made against the brothers involving inappropriate relations with a minor, as well as the trafficking and exploitation of underage individuals. Both have denied these accusations.
While the brothers continue to claim innocence, the Crown Prosecution Service’s decision to move forward underscores the seriousness of the allegations and the credibility of the evidence gathered.
