Mia, who worked closely with Combs from 2009 to 2017 and testified anonymously under a pseudonym, shared revealing details that offered jurors a rare glimpse into Diddy’s personal and professional life. Among the evidence were private text messages exchanged with the rapper, shedding light on significant moments and relationships.
New Allegations in Diddy’s Trial
One message from March 8, 2019, showed Mia encouraging Diddy to watch the Netflix series Love, directed by Judd Apatow. Another text from May 14, 2020, expressed grief over the passing of record executive Andre Harrell, credited with discovering Diddy. “Puff, my heart is broken about Dre. I’ve spent all week crying for you as well,” Mia wrote. She also reached out following the death of actor Chadwick Boseman, to which Diddy responded, “How are you? Yeah, life is crazy.”
During Diddy’s trial, Mia also testified that Diddy allegedly placed a tracking device on his on-and-off girlfriend Cassie Ventura’s car. “He’s stolen my phone many times, he’s stolen Cassie’s phone many times,” Mia told the jury. “He’s put tracking devices on her car. I wasn’t sure what he was capable of. I was terrified.”
Additionally, Mia accused Diddy of inappropriate conduct toward her on multiple occasions. When questioned by Diddy’s defense attorney Brian Steel about why these allegations were not raised during 2017 settlement talks related to unpaid wages, Mia explained she initially sought $10 million for bonuses, severance, and overtime. However, she settled for $400,000, which was shared with her legal team.
She further clarified that she was unaware at the time that her allegations could be included in settlement discussions and only disclosed them to prosecutors in 2024.
The revelation of new celebrity names and these serious allegations mark significant developments in Diddy’s trial, which continues to draw widespread media coverage and public interest.
