Chhattisgarh NEWS : Tarsius Tigga, in-charge principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Kurdeg, has been suspended with immediate effect on the charge of collecting extra fees from the students unauthorisedly. This action was taken by Divisional Commissioner Shri Narendra Dugga on the recommendation of Collector Jashpur.
According to the information received, Mr. Tigga collected fees from the students of class 9th to 12th more than the fee rate fixed by the government. On the complaint received in this regard, an inquiry was conducted by the Development Block Education Officer, Bagicha. Prima facie, the allegations in the complaint were found to be true.
The investigation revealed that Mr. Tigga violated the rules of the government by charging extra fees from the students in violation of the official norms. This conduct was found to be contrary to Rule 3 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965.
In view of the said act, Shri Tarsius Tigga has been placed under suspension under Rule 9 (1) (a) of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966. During the period of suspension, they will get subsistence allowance as per rules and their headquarters has been fixed at the office of the District Education Officer, Jashpur.
