Chhattisgarh NEWS : Under the Mukhyamantri Noni Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana, a total of 31 meritorious students of registered workers who came in the top 10 of class X and XII in the board examination will be given an incentive of Rs. Labour Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan and Chairman of Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Dr. Ram Pratap Singh will also be present on the occasion.
Labour Minister Devangan said that under the proposed program of the Mandal, a total of 31 labour children including 26 children of class 10 and 5 children of class 12 will be given Rs 2 lakh per student in the Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Board under the Mukhyamantri Noni Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana. This includes Rs 1 lakh for two-wheelers and Rs 1 lakh as cash incentive. Similarly, the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has disbursed over Rs. 19.71 crore to 38200 construction workers of the state through direct benefit transfer (DBT) in their bank accounts. This amount will be provided under various welfare schemes.
