RAJASTHAN NEWS : Energy Minister Shri Heeralal Nagar inaugurated and laid foundation stone of various works worth Rs. 22.45 crore in Baluhera, Jhalari and Deoli Gramme Panchayat area at a function held at Baluhera.
The Power Minister laid the foundation stone for the construction of Pokalia Khal Diversion Channel in Kanwas tehsil of Kota district at a cost of Rs. 19.45 crore to protect the fields of farmers from the surface water. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Nagar said that the diversion channel was an age-old demand. The crop has been damaged due to rains. Now with the construction of the diversion channel, water will not be filled in the fields. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, many works related to public welfare have been done in 11 years at the Centre. We have to take development schemes and works to the people. He said changes are being seen in the country from cleanliness to security. Women have been exempted from open defecation. Food security, farmers are getting Samman Nidhi. The workers should take these works of the people to the people and cooperate with those who are not able to take advantage of them.
Nagar also laid the foundation stone of the renovation work of the stepwell under the Pradhan Mantri Sinchai Yojana in Jhalari Gramme Panchayat and the work of Vriksh Kunj near Mahadev Temple in Palahera. Besides, development of pasture in Gopalpura, plantation of fruit bearing trees, construction of Niyana Talai, construction of Khedi anicut, renovation of Khedi water harvesting structure, renovation of Khedi water conservation structure and deepening of nullah. Jhalari Vriksha Kunj, Ruphera anicut renovation and nullah stabilisation work, Ruphera retaining wall construction work, Talai renovation and pucca bestware near Sangaria Basti, Niana pasture development, Faldar plantation, Garmori anicut construction and Poklyakhal deepening work, Palaheda talai renovation, retaining wall construction work near Palaheda playground, Kacholia Hanuman ji temple, Khedli Kakunia protection wall, Khedli Kakunia safety wall construction work, Khedli Kakunia talai renovation, Baluheda talai renovation, Palaheda safety wall, Palaheda water conservation structure etc. The Power Minister also dedicated the work of Gardana retaining wall, Talai renovation.
