MP NEWS : The Regional Passport Office Bhopal, under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, has launched the Mobile Passport Van Service to provide faster, more transparent, and convenient passport services to citizens, the. This initiative aims to make passport facilities easily accessible, especially in remote and far-flung areas.
Passport Officer Shri Shitanshu Chaurasia inaugurated the Mobile Passport Van on Friday at the Regional Passport Office in Bhopal. This mobile service will be deployed long-term in districts under the jurisdiction of the Bhopal Regional Office as needed.
Residents of Madhya Pradesh can avail of this service by booking an appointment through the official passport website: www.passportindia.gov.in. While applying, applicants must select the “Passport Van” service and choose a convenient slot from the available dates.
On the day of the appointment, applicants must reach the specified location on time and contact the Mobile Passport Van team present there. All formalities including document verification, photograph capture, and biometric processing will be completed within the van itself.
