CM Bhajan Lal Sharma formally launched the ‘Vidhayak-Shiksha Ka Saathi “and’ Matru Van Yojana” at Marwar International Centre, Jodhpur on Thursday. Both these schemes have been conceptualised by Jodhpur City MLA Shri Atul Bhansali.
Under the ‘Vidhayak-Shiksha Ka Saathi’ scheme, the government higher secondary schools in Jodhpur city have been targeted to be better than private schools by equipping them with advanced educational resources, better infrastructure, practical training and opportunities for personality development. Under the ‘Matru Van Yojana’ (One Tree in the Name of Mother and Harialon Rajasthan Campaign), there is a plan to plant 5 lakh saplings in Jodhpur area.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma informed that the State Government is working with all seriousness to ensure quality education in government schools. Also, taking inspiration from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s’ Ek Vridh Maa Ke Naam ‘campaign, a target of planting 10 crore saplings has been set under the’ Hariyalo Rajasthan ‘campaign this year.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Jogaram Patel, Animal Husbandry Minister Shri Joram Kumar Kumawat, Minister of State for Industries Shri K. K. Vishnoi, Chief Whip Shri Jogeswar Garg, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Rajendra Gehlot, MLAs Shri Babu Singh Rathore, Shri Atul Bhansali, Shri Devendra Joshi, Shri Arjun Lal Garg, Shri Bhairaram Seole and a large number of public representatives and common citizens were present on the occasion.
