CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the State Government is dedicated to public welfare and in this spirit, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada is being organized to ensure that the benefits of public welfare schemes reach the last person. He said that our government is working for the upliftment of the poor, farmers, youth and women of these four castes and we will fulfill every promise made in the Sankalp Patra which will give impetus to the vision of excellent and developed Rajasthan.
Shri Sharma was addressing a function organised as part of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada at Churu on Tuesday. He said that Churu is famous all over the world for its unique architecture and natural beauty. At the same time, the chirping of blackbucks and migratory birds of Talchhapar Sanctuary offers a wonderful experience to nature lovers. The artistic havelis, murals and other historical heritage of Churu speak of its rich cultural history.
People are getting the benefits of various schemes at one place.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that in these camps, works pending for years like removal of encroachments from roads, getting ownership of land are being completed. Also, under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Garibi Mukt Gaon Yojana, BPL families in 10 thousand villages are being surveyed and connected to government schemes through camps. He said that important works like distribution of saplings to farmers, collection of soil samples and distribution of soil health cards, Mangala Pashu Bima to cattle rearers, testing, treatment and vaccination of animals are also being done in these camps.
The schemes for the welfare of the poor are uplifting the person sitting at the end –
CM Bhajan Lal said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country has witnessed unprecedented changes since 2014. The schemes for the welfare of the poor started by him are uplifting the person sitting at the last end. At the same time, under his able guidance, unprecedented development work as well as terrorism-Naxalism have been eliminated in the country. He said that as per the vision of the Prime Minister, the State Government is working resolutely on the concept of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas-Sabka Vishwas-Sabka Prayas.
Working for the upliftment of women, youth, farmers and the poor –
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the previous government was not concerned about the welfare of the poor, while we are implementing the schemes by treating the poor as Ganesha. Our government is benefiting farmers with schemes like Gopal Credit Card, Kisan Samman Nidhi. At the same time, women are being empowered through various schemes including Lakhpati Didi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Lado Protsahan Yojana, distribution of bicycles to meritorious girl students, Kalibai Bheel Medhavi Vidyarthi Scooty Yojana, Maa Voucher. We will give four lakh government jobs to the youth in five years. “We have formed a task force with the Haryana government for the Yamuna water agreement to bring Yamuna water to Shekhawati.
The work of our one and a half years is more than the entire tenure of the previous government.
CM Bhajan Lal said that we have done unprecedented work for the development of the state in just one and a half years, which is more than the entire five years of the previous government. He said that our government increased the power generation capacity by 4,270 MW in just one and a half years while the previous government recorded an increase of only 3,948 MW in the entire five years. Similarly, we have given subsidy to farmers for more than 253 lakh metres of fencing and constructed more than 32 thousand farm ponds in one and a half years, whereas the previous government during its entire tenure gave subsidy for only 113 lakh metres of fencing and constructed only 29 thousand pounds. He said that in the last one and a half years, 55 Veterinary Hospitals were upgraded to First Class Veterinary Hospitals as compared to only 49 during the entire tenure of the previous Government.
The overall development of Churu district –
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that giving priority to the overall development of Churu district, our government has made a provision of Rs 834 crore in the budget and works worth Rs 300 crore are being done in Churu Assembly. He said that NH-52 bypass road from Ring Road via Taranagar via Baleri to Sardarshahar via Ratangarh via Depalsar would be constructed at a cost of Rs 200 crore. Also, the Churu-Jaipur road overbridge is being repaired at a cost of Rs 20 crore. Work is also being done to construct an underbridge on the Sirsala railway line, Ramnagar Tiraha and RUB in Om Colony, elevated road in Churu town.
Inauguration and foundation stone-
On the occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Chief Minister’s Rehabilitation Home built at a cost of Rs 3.62 crore and a 200-bed capacity Minority Boys Residential School built at a cost of Rs 11.76 crore at Churu. At the same time, CM Bhajan LalSharma also laid the foundation stone of Agriculture College Khansoli at Churu built at a cost of Rs.
Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Avinash Gehlot said that the Chief Minister has taken effective and concrete steps towards quenching the thirst of the Shekhawati region through the Yamuna Water Agreement. The Chief Minister has taken Rajasthan forward in all sectors including electricity, water, education, medicine, animal husbandry. He said that Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada is not just a fortnight but a new chapter in the development journey of the people of Rajasthan.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also distributed certificates and cheques to Smt. Mamta (Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana), Shri Girdhari Singh (Tarbandi), Shri Kumbharam (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin), Smt. Gomti (Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana), Shri Gopiram and Shri Pratap Singh (Partition Record) and felicitated the Bhamashahs under various schemes.
Earlier, the Chief Minister visited the camp under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada and handed over the keys of scooty to the girl students under Kalibai Bhil Meritorious Student Scooty Distribution Scheme. At the same time, the Chief Minister gave a message of environmental protection by planting a peepal sapling in the function premises. Shri Sharma visited the blood donation camp held in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School, Jodi and met the blood donors and appreciated them for their noble work.
