Rajasthan News: Jawahar Circle Station House Officer (SHO) Gopal Lal reported that the student from Dholpur, Rajasthan, was discovered deceased within his dorm room on Sunday.
In the late hours of Sunday, authorities in Rajasthan’s Kota district reported the suicide death of a 20-year-old student who was preparing for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate medical programs.
The development comes a day after another 20-year-old NEET student also allegedly died by suicide on Monday.
Gopal Lal, the station house officer (SHO) at Jawahar Circle, has reported that the student from Dholpur in Rajasthan was discovered deceased within his dormitory on Sunday.
Rajasthan News: “The incident happened this morning when his brother, who was also residing with him, went to the market. When he returned, he knocked multiple times, but the student did not respond. The SHO stated that after calling the landlord later, he broke open the door to discover his body.
The deceased hailed from Rajasthan’s Dholpur and had been studying at a coaching centre in Kota for over a year.
He was getting ready to take the NEET exam a third time in May.
According to the police, a note was found in his chamber.
“I apologize, papa. I’m saal bhi nahi kar paya, the letter said (HT saw a copy of it).
“An autopsy has been requested for the body. There was also an FSL squad assigned to the position. The police official stated, “We are investigating whether he changed in any way.
“We are also investigating the hostel’s failure to install spring-loaded fans in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the district administration,” he continued.
Rajasthan News: He stated that as soon as the police turn in a report on the guidelines breach, an investigation against the proprietors of the paying guest accommodation will begin.
“Once the police submit a report to the district collector in this regard, an inquiry will be initiated against the hostel authority for violation of the guidelines,” the SHO stated.
