Punjab’s Industries, Commerce, Investment Promotion, and NRI Affairs Minister Sanjeev Arora, announced that the state has earned the Gold Award in the State Category at the prestigious National One District One Product (ODOP) Awards 2024. The awards were presented on 14 July 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, in recognition of Punjab’s outstanding performance and innovative approach in promoting district-specific products under the ODOP initiative.
Minister Sanjeev Arora emphasized that this notable accomplishment is a result of the consistent dedication, strategic planning, and collaborative efforts of the Department of Industries and Commerce. During the awards event, Kamal Kishor Yadav, Secretary of the Department, presented Punjab’s best practices under ODOP, showcasing the state’s forward-looking and sustainable strategies for promoting local products and improving the ease of doing business.
The award was received by Surabhi Malik, IAS, Director, Industries and Commerce, Punjab, on behalf of the state.
