Khosla Ka Ghosla 2: New Plot, New Faces — But the Same Old Land Games?
Nearly two decades after it became a sleeper hit and won hearts across the country, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ is finally getting a sequel. According to exclusive industry reports, a second installment of the beloved 2006 black comedy is in active development — and actress Huma Qureshi is currently in discussions to take on the lead role.

Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the original Khosla Ka Ghosla starred Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak, and Parvin Dabas. Its satirical take on land scams, middle-class struggles, and Delhi’s chaotic property scene struck a chord with audiences, eventually earning the film a National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
Over the years, Khosla Ka Ghosla has become a cult classic, with frequent reruns on television and a strong digital following. Its characters — particularly the wily property dealer Kishen Khurana (played by Irani) and the affable Khosla family — have become household names.
Now, with the makers Planning to revisit the world of the Khoslas, sources reveal that Huma Qureshi is being considered to lead the new story, which is expected to introduce fresh characters while possibly retaining some legacy roles from the original cast.
