CM Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting with public representatives and officials in Varanasi today in view of the preparations for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He directed to complete all the preparations for the program to be held at Banauli in Sewapuri of the Prime Minister in time. All basic facilities, including drinking water, toilets, etc., should be ensured for the people visiting the venue. All preparations have been made for the meeting.
“The Prime Minister is coming to Varanasi in the month of Shravan.
It is the collective responsibility of all of us to ensure that the programme is organised in a systematic and successful manner. No single-use plastic will be used in the vicinity of the venue. There was no traffic jam on the Prime Minister’s arrival route. The public address system remained functional.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that all the formalities of the projects to be inaugurated and laid the foundation stone should be completed on time. He directed to form ward-wise committees in the city and conduct frequent cleanliness drives. There was no water problem in the city. Cleanliness drive should be carried out in Varuna river.
The officials apprised CM Yogi Adityanath of the administrative preparations, security arrangements, parking arrangements, arrangements for the public meeting venue and the projects to be inaugurated / laid foundation stone in connection with the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister to Varanasi.
After the meeting, the Chief Minister paid obeisance at Shri Kalabhairav Temple and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
The meeting was attended by Shri Anil Rajbhar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labour and Employment, Shri Ravindra Jaiswal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Stamps and Court Fees and Registration, Dr. Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH and other public representatives and senior officers of the administration.
