RAJASTHAN NEWS : A mega plantation programme was held at Reeko area of Neemrana on Friday under the chief hospitality of Forest Minister (I / C) Shri Sanjay Sharma. He also interacted with the industrialists on the occasion.
Shri Sharma gave the message of environmental balance and conservation by planting saplings in the program organized under the joint aegis of Neemrana Industries Association, Rico Neemrana and Rajasthan Pollution Control Board, Neemrana under the ‘Ek Vriksha Maa Ke Naam “and’ Mukhyamantri Vriksharopan Maha Abhiyan.” He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, the State is not confining environmental consciousness to policy alone but is giving it the form of a people’s movement. Hariyalo Rajasthan is an important step in this direction. Shri Sharma said that taking inspiration from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s campaign ‘Ek Vridh Maa Ke Naam, “the State Government launched’ Hariyalo Rajasthan – Mukhyamantri Vriksharopan Maha Abhiyan.” More than 7 crore saplings have been planted in the last monsoon in the state and this year the target was set to plant 10 crore saplings. He appealed to the people to take part in the campaign and plant more trees.
The event organizers informed that the management of the industries engaged in Neemrana has taken a great resolve to plant about 3 lakh saplings in and around the Neemrana industrial area, in which more than 2 lakh 30 thousand saplings have been planted so far. Under the joint aegis of Neemrana Industries Association, Reeko Neemrana and Rajasthan Pollution Control Board Neemrana, the industrialists of Neemrana together planted 1100 saplings in the EPIP Industrial Area Neemrana.
Talks with industrialists
Shri Sharma listened to the problems and suggestions of the industrialists on pollution and action being taken by Rajasthan Air Quality Management.
During this, the industrialists put forth their demands regarding the issue of providing Yamuna or ERCP water to the industries through the canal and excluding Neemrana from the NCR, on which Shri Sharma assured that efforts will be made to provide water to the industries with the joint efforts of the state government and the central government so that the industries do not feel any shortage in their production and operation. He said that the government is fully dedicated to the interest of industries under Rising Rajasthan, various schemes have been announced for industries, some of which have even come on the ground.
Shri Sharma thanked the Chief Minister for the announcements and implementation of development related schemes worth Rs. 150 crore in Neemrana Industrial Area by the Chief Minister last year. He wished his sisters a happy Rakhi and wished everyone a happy Raksha Bandhan. Sharma distributed cloth bags to the public in continuation of the single-use plastic ban campaign of the Pollution Control Board.
On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr Jasbir Singh, Joint Commissioner of Police Mr Charanjit Singh Sohal, SDM Mr Rahul Sindhu, Joint MC Commissioner Mr Harcharan Singh, Assistant Commissioner Mr Hardeep Singh, ACP Model Town Mr Harinder Singh and others were present.
