Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday visited Sri Kali Mata Mandir, offering prayers and seeking Mata Rani’s blessings to serve Punjab with greater zeal and dedication.
Arriving at the temple in the afternoon, CM Bhagwant said that with divine grace, his government is working tirelessly to meet public expectations, prioritizing pro-people and development-oriented policies. He noted that Sri Kali Mata Mandir, situated in Punjab’s cultural capital, Patiala, is among the most revered and historic temples in northern India, symbolizing the state’s rich spiritual heritage and royal legacy. On this occasion, he prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity in the state.
CM Bhagwant also met with the newly appointed temple management committee to review ongoing developments at the shrine, assuring full government support to enhance the temple through aesthetic and infrastructural improvements.
Seeking the Almighty’s strength to serve with humility and dedication, he prayed for the welfare of all Punjabis, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, or religion, with the aim of fostering harmony and unity in society — a priority his government pledges to uphold at all costs.
Expressing gratitude to Mata Rani for granting him the responsibility to serve the people, Mann described his visit as deeply fulfilling, calling the shrine a source of inspiration and positivity for millions.
