CM Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has emerged as a powerful nation. Injustice will no longer be tolerated. He said that our valiant armed forces have given a befitting reply to adversaries, showcasing the strength of Bharat.
CM Mohan Yadav was addressing a massive rally in Indore on Wednesday as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhata’ Abhiyan. The entire city was adorned in the colours of the national flag, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotic fervour and zeal. The streets resonated with patriotic songs, ‘Vande Mataram,’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ slogans.
The Chief Minister and the rally were accorded a grand welcome at various points, with thousands of citizens joining the procession. People from all communities, castes and religions participated with enthusiasm and passion.
Urban Development & Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav, MLAs Shri Ramesh Mendola, Shri Golu Shukla, Smt. Malini Gaur, Shri Mahendra Hardia, Shri Manoj Patel, Shri Madhu Verma, former MLAs Shri Jeetu Jirati & Shri Sudarshan Gupta, Chairman of the Scheduled Caste Finance & Development Corporation Shri Sawan Sonkar, Chairman of the Safai Karmachari Commission Shri Pratap Karosia, Shri Sumit Mishra, Shri Shravan Chawda and other public representatives were present during the rally.
CM Mohan Yadav said that India is the world’s largest democracy, and its citizens should honour the democratic system and its guardians. He noted that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the honour and glory of the Tricolour have risen higher than ever before. It is a matter of pride that India will celebrate its 79th Independence Day. To make this occasion unforgettable, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhata’ campaign has been launched, with Tricolour rallies being organised in every district. This campaign is also spreading awareness about cleanliness to fulfil the vision of the Prime Minister.
CM Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the Smart Indore Helpline (WhatsApp Chatbot Service) of Indore Municipal Corporation. Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav shared details about Indore’s cleanliness journey, noting that the city has ranked first in the country in cleanliness for eight consecutive years. Indore is now leveraging digital technology for cleanliness operations and faster, more effective grievance redressal. He also provided information on the newly launched Smart Indore Helpline. Shri Sumit Mishra also addressed the gathering.
CM Mohan Yadav Rides on Tricolour-Decorated Chariot, Greets Citizens
CM Mohan Yadav rode on a specially decorated chariot adorned with the Tricolour, greeting citizens along the route during the rally. People accorded him a grand welcome at several points. The rally began from the historic Rajwada, passed through Krishnapura Chhatri, Jail Road and the District Court, and concluded at the historic Gandhi Hall.
Welcomed from Hundreds of Stages
Local traders decorated their shops and establishments with the Tricolour and showered flower petals on the rally. Various community groups, traders’ associations, sports organizations and industrial bodies welcomed the procession from different stages. Youth, students, NCC cadets, youth clubs, and sportspersons participated in large numbers. Representatives from various communities wore traditional attire, while saints, religious leaders, and women in saffron sarees joined the march. Sanitation workers were also present in significant numbers.
Honouring Sanitation Workers and Loktantra Senanis
CM Dr. Yadav honoured Indore’s sanitation workers for securing the city’s top cleanliness ranking in the country for the eighth consecutive year. On the occasion, he also had a “zero-waste” rakhi tied by sanitation sisters and other women. He further honoured Loktantra Senanis.
City Resonated with Patriotic Music
Brass bands played patriotic tunes throughout the rally, while a tribal dance troupe presented traditional dances to patriotic songs. A large number of Sikh community members joined wearing saffron turbans. Members of the Maharashtrian community, especially women in traditional dress, performed to the beats of the Nasik dhol. Youth dressed as national icons were a special attraction.

CM Mohan Yadav offered floral tributes at the statue of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar and recalled her life and contributions at the beginning of the rally.
