Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini today paid rich tributes to former CM and Vikas Purush Chaudhary Bansi Lal on his birth anniversary during the Monsoon Session of the Vidhan Sabha.
Haryana CM recalled that Chaudhary Bansi Lal served as Haryana’s Chief Minister four times, leading the state for more than 11 years and steering its all-round development, earning him the title of the state’s architect and Vikas Purush.
The CM informed that Bansi Lal was elected to the Haryana Assembly seven times, to the Lok Sabha thrice, and twice to the Rajya Sabha. At the national level, he held key portfolios including Defence, Transport, and Railways, where he showcased remarkable leadership.
Remembering him as a Karmayogi, a symbol of principled politics, and an able administrator, the Chief Minister said Bansi Lal’s straightforward approach and visionary outlook gave Haryana a unique identity.
Saini added that the late leader’s contributions and farsighted policies will remain a source of inspiration for future generations.
