Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that with the blessings of Baba Mahakal, the upcoming Singhasth-2028 in Ujjain will break all previous records.
Baba Mahakal ,Pilgrimage tourism will be further promoted in Ujjain, and no effort will be spared in the city’s development. CM Dr. Yadav was addressing the clay Ganesh idol distribution event organised by the Lokmanya Tilak Ganesh Utsav Maha-Ayojan Samiti in Ujjain on Wednesday. On this occasion, he extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on Ganesh Chaturthi.
At the start of the event, the Chief Minister performed worship of Lord Shri Ganesh. He said that in Indian culture, Shri Ganesh is revered as the first deity to be worshipped. As the giver of wisdom and success, he ensures the accomplishment of auspicious works; hence, invoking him at the beginning of every sacred task is considered essential. He added, “Our tradition and nature give the message that there should be a clay Ganesh idol in every home.”
CM Dr. Yadav further said that the state is celebrating the festival of clay Ganesh idols in an environment of ‘Swadeshi’. He said, this is a festival of joy, with the blessings of God, both the nation and the state are progressing, which is a matter of pride. CM Dr. Yadav informed that beautification work is continuously being carried out in Ujjain. Along with road construction and widening, flyovers will soon be built in the city. A metro train will also run from Pithampur to Indore and Ujjain. The Gopal Mandir Chowk will soon be expanded as well.
MLA Shri Anil Jain Kalukheda delivered the welcome address and briefed about the event. He informed that around 300 clay Ganesh idols are being distributed among various committees and organisations of the city.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was warmly welcomed by MLA Shri Jain, Mayor Shri Mukesh Tatwal, and Chairperson Smt. Kalavati Yadav, Shri Sanjay Agrawal, and others, who also presented him with a Ganesh idol.
The event was attended by Shri Vivek Joshi, Shri Roop Pamnani, Shri Rameshchandra Sharma, Shri Satyanarayan Khoiwal, Shri Vishal Rajoria, Shri Shivendra Tiwari, Shri Om Jain and a large number of citizens. The event was conducted by Shri Jagdish Panchal.
