The mystery behind his disappearance came to light as Bedi shared his reasons for stepping away from the industry.
He revealed that a major disappointment in his career was being cut from Rakesh Roshan’s Koi Mil Gaya, a film that starred Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, and Rekha. Bedi told the press, “I went to Canada at a time when I was feeling disheartened with my career in the industry. Films were successful; Koi Mil Gaya was a massive hit, but it didn’t help me.”
