In an exclusive conversation, Manoj Bajpayee shared that awards are nothing more than a piece of decoration. “It is a useless conversation because it is gone,” he remarked when asked about films being overlooked during award ceremonies.
The actor reflected on his critically praised performances in Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai and Joram, calling both projects milestones in his career. However, he made it clear that recognition should not revolve around trophies. “When it comes to Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, yes, it is a very special film in my filmography, and so was Joram. They are going to be on top of my filmography. But I don’t discuss these things because it is a very loser conversation. It is in the past, and it should be left alone,” Bajpayee stated.
