CM Rekha Gupta personally donated the first unit of blood at the camp, expressing her commitment to follow the Prime Minister’s message of service. “Every drop of our blood is dedicated to the country. I donated blood today to practice what I preach,” she told the media.
Highlighting PM Modi’s contributions to Delhi, Gupta praised the national capital’s development under his leadership, specifically mentioning landmark projects such as the Yashobhoomi and Bharat Mandapam venues and improved road connectivity. “It is for the first time in Delhi that people are saying ‘Thank you Modiji’ from this stage,” she remarked.
Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh also took part in the blood donation camp and conveyed his wishes for the Prime Minister’s good health and long life. Other cabinet ministers, including Kapil Mishra, joined the event and shared details about the day’s ongoing activities.

Kapil Mishra informed that apart from the blood donation camp, the Delhi government organized a “Sewa Sankalp” walk along Kartavya Path to further commemorate the occasion. He also mentioned upcoming services to be launched at Thyagraj Stadium as part of the celebrations. The event even caught international attention, with US President Donald Trump extending his birthday wishes to PM Modi.
During the “Sewa Sankalp” walk, CM Rekha Gupta joyfully participated in a brief folk dance with performers from Maharashtra, spreading festive cheer. The walk was marked by enthusiastic slogans like “Prime Minister Narendra Modi Zindabad” and “Thank You Modiji,” reflecting the public’s appreciation.
