The firing incident, which occurred in the early hours of September 12, had caused panic in the locality. A case was promptly registered at Kotwali Police Station, and state authorities prioritized the investigation.
Confirming the action, Disha Patani’s father, Jagdish Patani, expressed gratitude toward Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. “From me and my family, I thank UP CM Yogi Adityanath. As he had assured me, action was taken under his guidance and the culprits were tracked down in such a short time,” he said.
Both accused were injured during the encounter and later succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Their neutralization has brought some relief to the Patani family and the residents of the area, who were left shaken following the attack.
