Official Statements and Ongoing Investigation
Authorities recently confirmed that the body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez was found inside an impounded Tesla earlier this month. Celeste had been reported missing last year. Police have not stated that d4vd—real name David Anthony Burke, 20—is implicated in her death. However, multiple reports suggest the car was registered under his name.
The artist’s final two U.S. shows were abruptly taken down from venue websites. His scheduled performance in San Francisco on Friday was marked as canceled, while his Los Angeles tour stop on Saturday also disappeared from listings and was flagged as canceled on Ticketmaster.
Additionally, a mid-week appearance at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, originally marked as sold out, was removed from the venue’s schedule. Several stops on d4vd’s upcoming European tour have also been quietly taken down.
So far, neither his representatives nor the Los Angeles Police Department have issued official comments on whether the singer owns the vehicle or has any connection to the ongoing investigation.
