Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav Urges Citizens to Purchase Swadeshi Products
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that whatever Indore does, it does uniquely and exceptionally. Along with cleanliness, Indore should progress rapidly in other sectors as well, and raise its flag with pride across the country and the world. Indore has now advanced to become a metropolitan city and has also attained the status of a metro city. Emerging as the “Maha Guru of Cleanliness,” Indore is now inspiring other cities with its message of hygiene and sanitation. This time, Indore has also taken a pledge to make Depalpur town clean, in which it will surely succeed. The Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing a program organized on Swachh Bharat Diwas at Nehru Park on Thursday.
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that today marks the birth anniversaries of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri. It also marks the centenary of the world’s largest organization, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Extending greetings on Vijayadashami, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav led the gathering in raising slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Mahatma Gandhi ki Jai.” He added that due to the foresight of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the entire nation is moving rapidly in the direction of cleanliness. Madhya Pradesh is fortunate that on September 17, Prime Minister Modi celebrated his birthday in Badnawar by inaugurating the PM Mitra Park. Once completed, this park will improve the lives of cotton farmers and create employment for lakhs of people.

The Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav informed that the Seva Pakhwada began on Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, September 17, and successfully concluded in Indore on Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti. As part of the fortnight, Indore Municipal Corporation organized a variety of cleanliness-related programs. On this occasion, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav released colourful balloons into the sky. The event began with the lighting of a lamp, followed by floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi’s statue. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also visited the exhibition of Swadeshi products organised by Madhya Pradesh Khadi Gramodyog Board, where he purchased two Khadi towels for himself. He urged citizens to buy Swadeshi goods and contribute to making the nation developed. He also visited the exhibition of self-help groups organised by Indore Municipal Corporation.
Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav said that inspired by Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Indore Municipal Corporation has been carrying out diverse initiatives in the field of cleanliness. The program was attended by MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, MLAs Smt. Malini Gaur, Shri Ramesh Mendola, Shri Golu Shukla, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sudam Khade, Collector Shri Shivam Verma, Municipal Commissioner Shri Dilip Kumar Yadav, Smart City CEO Shri Arth Jain, public representatives, and citizens.
