Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini embarks on a 3-day Japan visit to invite global investors for Haryana Global Investors Summit 2026. Meetings held in Tokyo and Osaka with top Japanese officials and companies.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has embarked on a three-day diplomatic and investment mission to Japan, from October 6 to 8, 2025, aimed at strengthening international ties and wooing foreign investors ahead of the Haryana Global Investors Summit 2026.
Day 1: Tokyo — Diplomatic Engagements & Investment Talks
On October 6, CM Saini landed in Tokyo and immediately commenced his official agenda. He held meetings with the Japanese Foreign Affairs contingent and senior ministers from the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry. Among his interlocutors were Japan’s Foreign State Minister Miyaji Takuma and Industry State Minister Koga Yuichiro, with whom he discussed bilateral trade, investment facilitation, and technological collaboration.
Further in the day, Saini attended events at the Indian Embassy in Tokyo, and engaged with corporate representatives from major Japanese firms including JETRO, Denso, Sumitomo, Nissin Foods, and Toppan, pitching Haryana’s industrial prospects and the upcoming Global Investors Summit.

Day 2: Osaka — Summit Launch, Roadshows & Inauguration
On October 7, CM Saini traveled by Shinkansen bullet train to Osaka. During the day, he officially inaugurated Haryana State’s zone at World Expo 2025, bringing global attention to the state’s growth aspirations.
He joined bilateral and multilateral investment meetings with Japanese municipal leaders and business delegations. As part of a state investment roadshow, Saini presented Haryana’s opportunities in manufacturing, technology, infrastructure and logistics to attract foreign direct investment.
Day 3: Industrial Visits & Governor Meet in Osaka
On the final day, October 8, the Chief Minister toured prominent industrial plants, including Suzuki and Kubota, to observe cutting-edge manufacturing operations. He also met with the Governor of Osaka Prefecture to discuss regional cooperation and policy alignment.
Throughout, Saini reiterated that the Japan trip marks a pivotal step toward integrating Haryana into the global industrial and investment ecosystem.
Planned Return & Domestic Agenda
After completing his Japan engagements, CM Saini will return presumably on October 9, ahead of a busy domestic schedule. At Delhi’s Haryana Bhavan, he is slated to preside over a cabinet meeting at 11 AM, followed by the BJP legislature party meeting at 1 PM, to strategize and review governance initiatives.
On the same day, during interactions with media, Saini previewed October 17 as a landmark date: the completion of one year in the current term. He announced that the government will host a grand ceremony in Sonipat, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to be the chief guest and unveil several flagship projects for the state.
