CM Bhagwant Mann: The Punjab government has launched a significant initiative aimed at promoting sports and steering the youth away from addiction. Under this ambitious program, state-of-the-art stadiums will be constructed in every village across Punjab.

CM Bhagwant Mann stated that in the first phase, construction work for 3,083 stadiums is already underway. These facilities will strengthen the grassroots sports infrastructure, providing young athletes with the tools and environment needed to excel.

CM Bhagwant Mann emphasized that the government’s vision extends beyond just providing sports facilities. “Our goal is to ensure that the youth of Punjab remain engaged in healthy activities and stay away from addiction. With the new sports policy, our talented athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities at national and international levels,” he said.

According to the Punjab Sports Department, each stadium will be equipped with modern sports equipment, running tracks, and professional coaching facilities. This initiative is part of the Punjab government’s broader effort to develop rural areas, empower the youth, and promote a culture of sports and wellness across the state.
