Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, during a rally in Barabanki, said people should identify those who oppose Vande Mataram but are first to avail government schemes.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a massive public gathering in Fatehpur town of Barabanki, urging people to identify those who take the benefits of government welfare schemes first but oppose “Vande Mataram.”
During his address at an event organized to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Chief Minister said that those opposing Vande Mataram are often the same people who stand in the front row to receive government benefits. He also criticized the Congress party, saying it never truly respected the Iron Man of India, Sardar Patel.
CM Yogi began his speech with the chant “Siyaavar Ramchandra Ki Jai” and emphasized the importance of national unity. “There may be personal differences, but when it comes to the integrity of the nation, we must all stand together,” he said.

Upon his arrival at around 10:30 AM at the temporary helipad in Fatehpur, the Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by senior district officials and public representatives. Yogi Adityanath first paid floral tributes to the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar near the helipad before proceeding to the main event venue.
At the grand event, CM Yogi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects worth ₹1,734 crore, including initiatives related to roads, education, irrigation, healthcare, and industrial growth. He also distributed certificates and approval letters to beneficiaries of various state government schemes.
The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reaffirmed his government’s commitment to ensuring that the benefits of development reach every citizen. He called upon people to stay alert against those who attempt to divide society and oppose the nation’s unity.
A huge crowd gathered to listen to CM Yogi, and the area within a four-kilometer radius of the event venue was placed under tight security.
Several prominent leaders were present on the occasion, including Minister of State Satish Chandra Sharma, regional in-charge Sanjay Rai, regional president Kamlesh Mishra, district in-charge Avneesh Singh Patel, MLA Sakendra Pratap Verma, MLA Dinesh Rawat, former MP Priyanka Singh Rawat, district panchayat chairperson Rajrani Rawat, and district president Arvind Maurya.
