In the wake of the tragic Red Fort blast that claimed nine lives, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta on Tuesday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh for each family of the deceased. The government also declared that individuals who have suffered temporary disabilities due to the explosion will receive Rs 5 lakh. Grievously injured victims are set to receive Rs 2 lakh, while those with minor injuries will be provided Rs 20,000 to cover initial medical and recovery expenses.
Speaking about the incident, CM Rekha Gupta expressed her deep sorrow and stated, “This unfortunate incident near the Red Fort has left the entire city in shock.
