Speaking about their wedding, Sandeep Baswana revealed that a trip to Vrindavan in April inspired their decision to marry in the Radha Krishna temple. “Ashlesha and I felt a deep spiritual connection with the temples, and we wanted to honor that in our wedding. Our parents are thrilled; they’ve been waiting for this day for years. We wanted a simple yet meaningful ceremony,” he shared.
The couple’s journey began in 2002 on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, where Ashlesha played Teesha Mehta Virani, and Sandeep portrayed Sahil Virani. Their bond grew stronger over time, with Ashlesha occasionally staying at Sandeep’s home due to the distance from her place to the set. After more than two decades together, their love story culminated in this beautiful wedding.
Currently, Ashlesha Savant is seen in the television show Jhanak, which airs on StarPlus and streams on JioHotstar. She plays a pivotal role alongside Hiba Nawab, Krushal Ahuja, Riya Sharma, Arjit Taneja, Twinkle Arora, and Rajveer Singh. Previously, she appeared in Anupamaa, portraying the negative character Barkha, Anuj’s sister-in-law.
