Gold prices saw a significant decline in the domestic futures market on Monday, 24th November 2025. The 5th December expiry gold futures on MCX opened at ₹1,22,743 per 10 grams. On the last trading day, gold had closed at ₹1,24,191, marking a notable dip in the market.
Market Update: Gold and Silver Prices
As of 10:30 AM on Monday, the 5th December gold futures were trading at ₹1,22,749 per 10 grams, reflecting a fall of around ₹1,440 compared to the previous closing price. Earlier in the session, gold hit a high of ₹1,23,300 per 10 grams.
Similarly, silver prices also experienced a downturn. At the time of reporting, MCX silver was trading at ₹1,52,989 per kilogram, down from an opening of ₹1,53,913. This marked a decline of approximately ₹1,160 compared to the previous day’s close.
