Rajasthan is witnessing rapid growth across multiple sectors, including tourism, information technology, renewable energy, agriculture, and healthcare, said Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Thursday. Speaking about the state’s development journey, he emphasized that Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage and geographical diversity are key drivers supporting this progress.
CM Sharma highlighted the critical role of Non-Resident Rajasthanis (NRRs) as active contributors to the state’s development. Interacting with NRR representatives from chapters in Surat, London, Dubai, Singapore, Kampala, Tokyo, Doha, Munich, New York, Bhubaneswar, Nairobi, Kolkata, and Delhi, the Chief Minister praised their investment initiatives and commitment to the homeland.
Expressing confidence in Rajasthan’s growth trajectory, Sharma stated that collaborative efforts between the state government and NRRs would position Rajasthan among the leading states in the country, fulfilling the vision of a developed and prosperous Rajasthan. Officials have been instructed to provide comprehensive support to investors seeking opportunities in the state.

To strengthen the bond with NRRs, the state government organized the first-ever Non-Resident Rajasthani Day, marking a historic milestone in connecting the diaspora with their roots. Furthermore, the government has set up a National and International Non-Resident Rajasthani Affairs Department to safeguard the welfare and interests of NRRs and has introduced a dedicated Non-Resident Rajasthani Policy to streamline engagement and investment opportunities.
In a bid to expand outreach, the Rajasthan government announced the establishment of 14 new Rajasthan Foundation centres, taking the total to 40 centres across India and abroad. NRR representatives expressed their intent to continue investing across key sectors, contributing significantly to Rajasthan’s socio-economic growth.
CM Sharma concluded by reaffirming the state government’s commitment to facilitating NRR participation, ensuring Rajasthan continues its journey toward sustainable development and global recognition.
